Canada has been the birthplace of many great technology companies Nortel, Blackberry (RIM), Shopify, Rogers, OpenText, HootSuite and many more. Before they grew to be global giants, they were businesses that ran on someone’s kitchen table, and before that just an idea in the mind of a founder (s). 

But who are the Canadian startups and supporters propelling the economy, and who are the individuals behind the next wave of great Canadian tech companies.

The first stage will include an interview series with Founders, Service Providers, Agencies, Incubators, and other supporters of the startup sector. We will also develop an online vendor directory to serve as a tool for the Canadian tech ecosystem, facilitating connections between buyers and sellers.
